MATEO NORIEL LUGA PROJECT

A project was recently launched in honor of the late General Mateo Noriel Luga. The project which aim is to propagate the ideals of General Mateo Noriel Luga for the future generation of Pilipinos to live with honor, integrity and loyalty to country, to motivate our youth to become future leaders of our country and to recognize extra-ordinary deeds of ordinary people, private individuals, government employees and officials in the military and civilian service that needs to be emulated by the youth and our people per se, recently launched two projects for this quarter.

1. SETTING ASIDE OF A FUND AS PRIZE FOR THE STUDENTS OF SACRED HEART ACADEMY OF NOVALICHES WHO SHALL BE AWARDED AS THE BEST GROUP PERFORMER IN SHAN'S YEARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENTATION PROGRAM.


After a successful project undertaken by the Athletics Club of Sacred Academy of Novaliches, whose President was Senior Jose Mathew P. Luga, by covering the December affair of the School entitled "A Night Before Christmas", into video production, where Jose Mathew is one of the lead performer, and reproducing the same into CD to raise funds for the play's next season, the General Mateo Noriel Luga Foundation donated P 2,000.00 out of the proceeds of the sale as a prize for the winner of a group "Best Performer Category" in the next season's Christmas Presentation of the students of Sacred Heart Academy of Novaliches.


In his letter to Mrs. Josephine K. Zabarte, Roy R. Luga, Project Manager of the Foundation stressed that the primary intent of the award by the Foundation is to inculcate and motivate the youth per se not only as future leaders of our nation, but future talents as well and to live by the creed of Gen. Mateo Noriel Luga's ideals, honor, integrity and love to country.








2. AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION OF THE BUREAU OF FISHERIES AND AQUATIC RESOURCES FISHERIES PROJECT IN THE CORDILLERA -



In recognition of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources - Cordillera Administrative Region (BFAR-CAR) Regional Director Rebecca G. Dang-Awan's relentless effort to address and continue the peace advocacy of Edsel Rodrigazo Arrieta, who brokered the peace agreement between the government and the CPLA, by providing fisheries project to CPLA, some members of whom were absorbed to the regular force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Gen. Mateo Noriel Luga Foundation in coordination with the 28th Multi-Media Philippines and Usec. Robert T. Rivera, T.V. Host of Pilipinas Ngayon Na! Shown every Saturdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at NBN Channel - 4, produced an AVP Production to promote and further advocate BFAR-CAR's latest projects, to uplift the economic standard of the people in Cordillera.









The General Mateo Noriel Luga Project is headed by its Project Director, Roy Rodrigazo Luga, Mala Jean Luga as Marketing Director and Voltaire John Luga Santillan, Line Producer of the 700 Club (QTV) as its Artistic Director with Father Angel Luga and Maripil Luga Borja, who already donated an amount of P 5,000.00 as advance payment to the accountant hired as consultant by the soon to be Foundation, as among its Honorary memberS. The Foundation welcomes interested organizations, entities or business establishments who wishes to produce audio-visual presentations, site designs and graphic presentations to be featured in the different sites being develop by the Foundation in furtherance of their advocacies.


Senior members of the Luga Clan, Gen. Emilio S. Luga, Jr., Gen. Victor Luga and Col. Mateo Luga, among others, respectable members of the Philippine Society, officials of cultural minority organizations, government officials in the military and civilian service (active and retired), shall soon be given their respective invitations with full respect and honor as members of this highly respectable Foundation being organize by the Twenty Eight Multi-Media Philippines.


Among others, Undersecretary Robert T. Rivera, Office of the Press Secretary, Office of the President, host of Pilipinas Ngayon Na!, aired every Saturdays at 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. is being eyed by Studio 28th as its media partner to propagate the General Mateo Noriel Luga Foundation's advocacy.
